Moving for Moksha: My latest poetry collection is out!

Hello, my dear readers! It is more than a joy to share with you all that my latest poetry collection, Moving for Moksha, has come out today. Moving for Moksha is a collection of 14 poems, 14 cryptic images and a riddle that you will find embedded in the lines of the poems you read. Unlike my first poetry collection, 13 Untitled and Weird Poems, this one has more to it. It is a deliberately made poetry collection, carefully designed graphics collection and well-thought movement of verse that compel the readers to think more than what they usually do after reading any poetry collection by Indian English poets.

Moving for Moksha Alok Mishra

I have tried to take inspiration from ancient Indian texts. It is certain and should be apparent to the readers as well. You will find it yourself. Moreover, the poems have many other sources of inspiration that should be the readers’ job to unearth and think. Like always, I will look forward to all your love and feedback on my poems and the collection as a whole. I hope it will be something for the Indian English poets’ society and my contribution will be worth notice. I have always favoured that Indian English literature must have something of its own and my contribution is in the same direction. It will certainly give further strength to our continuing strife of bringing more and more Indianness in Indian English literature.

To all the critics and poetry lovers out there, I would make a call to have a look at my poems and honour me with their valuable feedback and critical opinions. If you a book critic, book reviewer or a true poetry enthusiast, just let me know and I will get a free Kindle copy for you or the free PDF copy that I have specially got designed for critical reading purposes. Being a book critic and one of the top and well-known book bloggers in India, I understand how important is it to critically make a call on any book. I will honour all the opinions that I receive!

And yes, let me also announce that this is not even a halt where I can wait for the moments to pass and rest! I will keep producing more Indian literature in English. I have decided to contribute as much as I can and bring to Indian readers of English poetry the best possible Indian experience I can. I am sure that readers will keep their support for my works ongoing as my efforts.
