I move on (every night) – A poem

I move on every night poem Alok Mishra

A can of RedBull (or mostly Monster),
a few pages scattered on my table
with MacBook Air emitting its low light
and this is the usual sight
on every usual night.
A fight
for survival or
survival for the fight?

Lust for the past
and indifference to future
make my life lifeless
or just further
my agenda to live.

Unknown to me, stranger to myself,
I move on (every night).
