Know him – Poet Alok Mishra

Though it started with an appreciation for famous poets of England, native and a certain migrated one, T. S. Eliot, after he studied deeply and (certainly) objectively without any fear of being judged and graded, Hindi and Sanskrit poetry, as well as ancient Indian philosophy, especially the entire line of Hindu religious epics, spiritual literature and Indian ethos, appealed him far more than anything else. Occasionally driven by emotions like love, sentiments and other humane compulsions, the poetry of Alok Mishra bears the mark of Indian identity and it can easily be traced.

As a poet, Alok Mishra has produced many poems that are published on many literary platforms and also on this website. These poems can be read for free because of being in the public domain. He also shares his works, occasionally, on platforms like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

He has published two collections of poems – Moving for Moksha in 2020 and 13 untitled and weird poems in 2018.
