की लहरों से टकराने का अब बस मन नहीं।
बहुत खुशनसीब था मैं की ज़िन्दगी मिली
की अब मर जाने का भी खास गम नहीं।।
हँस लिये, रो लिये
दो-चार पुष्प हिस्से के पलों में पिरो लिये,
बस हो तो गयी ज़िन्दगी, और
खुद से मिलने अब चल दिए।
जो टालते आया वर्षों से मैं
हाँ वही तो सच्चाई है,
ये पल दो पल का मिलन – विरह
केवल एक परछाई है।
अब यकीन होता है,
अब एहसास होता है,
क्यूंकि कभी था ही नहीं मैं
और
हमेशा से रहा हूँ मैं…

Bas ab dubta hi samajh lo mujhe bhi
ki lehron se takrane ka ab bas man nahin.
bahut khushnasib tha mai ki zindagi mili
ki ab mar jane ka bhi khas gam nahin.
Hans liye, ro liye
do-char pushpa hisse ke palon me piro liye,
bas ho to gayi zindagi, aur
khud se milne ab chal diye.
Jo talte aya varshon se main
han wahi to sachhai hai,
ye pal do pal ka milan-virah
keval ek parchhai hai.
Ab yakin hota hai,
ab ehsas hota hai,
kyunki kabhi tha hi nahi main
aur
Hamesha se raha hun main…
