Life and Death – a short poem

life and death poem alok mishra

I wasn’t aware when death
threw her silky snare
and neither did I
try
to realise when I died
eventually.
Dilemma
delusion
dogma
and never I knew
when was last that I lived
either.

  1. Splendid! I saw life and I also saw death and I also saw lifelessness and I also saw enthusiasm to die. Read many short poems about life and death but this one tells too many stories! Amazing!
